Romance Madness #BlogHop

romancehop2013Welcome to my stop on the Romance Madness Hop. I’m a huge romantic suspense fan and contemporary romance lover, but recently I picked up a paranormal romance and fell in love. Fire on the Island has everything any romance lover needs in a great read, suspense, love, sex, and a happily ever after. In addition, JK Hogan keeps you guessing with witches, werewolves, soul stealing demons and a crazy mother that you’ll wish you could slap.
That’s a lot to take in from one book. Mix that with the awesome and intricately described Scotland setting and you won’t be able to put this book down. I finished it in days and immediately went looking for another paranormal romance to read.
The sequel, Blood in the Valley, is expected to be released on May 4th and I can’t wait!

Today I’m giving away one Kindle or NOOK Book of Fire on the Island for the Romance Madness blog hop.

Fire on the Island
All Isla Macallen wanted was a simple existence on her little Scottish island, free from her mother’s insanity and the prying eyes of neighbors. What she got was embroiled in a war for the souls of mankind. A war of good versus evil, of witches versus demons, and Isla learns that she alone can end it.

Dr. Jeremiah Rousseau was a self-proclaimed nomad, traveling the world researching paranormal phenomena. He doesn’t expect his research to lead him to Scotland, and to the woman who will turn his world upside down.

Together with a facetious shapeshifting animal spirit guide, Jeremiah and Isla discover that she is part of an ancient bloodline bred to protect the gateways between the human world and the spirit world, to keep evil demons from destroying them. They must find the key to defeating Alastore, the demon king, and closing the gate before Samhain, when the veil between the worlds is lifted. As the war for their souls wages around them, Isla and Jeremiah will risk it all for love—a love neither had ever thought possible.

If you’re not into paranormal romance and looking for something a little more traditional or true romantic suspense, you can check out my book, Dangerous Embrace.

Sarah Jennings wants nothing more than a quiet life–alone.
Raised by an eccentric mother, their life on the road only taught her how to run away from hard times. But when she finds herself in an abusive relationship, this lesson serves her well.

Now, back in her hometown, she’s found a place she loves. She’s a first grade teacher, and with few friends and less family around, she has what she wants, a quiet life under the radar where she can be free of her past and live quietly. Finally comfortable in her own skin, she’s settled, and less fearful than she’s ever been in her life.

But it only takes one night and one act of violence for everything to change. Injured and afraid, Sarah wants to run again, but Mark Summors refuses to let her go.

Just when Sarah thinks she can have Mark and the life he promises, her past comes back to haunt her.

Mark Summors was born and raised in Santa Rosa. He married his high school sweetheart and never questioned his life, until he found his wife with another man.

Now divorced, he wants something more. He’s passionate about his job, he wants to protect people, and he devotes his life to it.

This time he’s protecting more than just another client, he’s protecting his future; at least, Sarah Jennings will be his future, once he convinces her she loves him.

I’m also giving away one Kindle or NOOK Book copy of Dangerous Embrace. Use the Rafflecopter below to enter for either book.
