My Nanowrimo list…

nano_09_blk_participant_120x90.pngAs I said, DS, you’re forcing me into this. Here is my list of items to get me ready for Nanowrimo.

I actually went to Target today for the following items:

  • Printer paper
  • Brand spanking new notebook
  • Whiteboard for story boarding

What I’ve set up next to my writing chair:

  • First and foremost (because I’m an awful speller) Webster’s Dictionary
  • Thesaurus
  • All my writing self-help books (just-in-case)
  • Blue ink pens and yellow highlighters
  • Kleenex (just-in-case I write something sad–or just-in-case I need to cry over how freaking tired I am after working all day, cooking dinner, washing dishes, doing homework, kids baths and bedtime…uuhhh and then writing my nanowrimo story 🙂 )
  • Lots and lots of Peet’s Coffee, French Roast Blend
  • IPOD and headphones
  • Laptop
  • My most comfortable pajama pants–clean
  • Bookmark the Nanowrimo FAQ page

A few more items my very sweet husband will be bringing me home tomorrow.

  • Digital voice recorder to use in my car
  • Laptop Pad because I’m tired of using a pillow

There may be a few items I’ve missed but I still have a few days.

OH HELL…

I almost forgot

  • Tequila
  • Lime
  • Salt or sugar (mood depending)

  • I don’t know what made me laugh more, PJ pants or Tequila!

  • The PJs and the tequila rightfully should have been at the top of my list. 🙂

  • •All my writing self-help books (just-in-case)

    •Kleenex ……..

OMG what a gas! I am copying the Kleenex rant and sticking it to the wall. Just feel that raw emotion coming through… Aren’t ya glad I forced you to work through these issues now, instead of on day 12!

    • You live in Florida, what time is it there? You should be in bed
Miss “Reading/writing glasses – Don’t laugh you’ll get old one day too.”
Does this list clue you in to what kind of an evening I had. LOL!
Yes, I am prepared now–for sure–and I’m going to bed.

  • Best of luck with NaNoWriMo! Definitely add coffee to the shopping list. Very much hope you are enjoying The Opposite of Love. When you are done, please drop me a line and let me know what you think.
    Best,
    Julie Buxbaum

I feel so unprepared. I am going to have to get my room ready. Yikes! AND clean my pj’s and probably some underwear…

BTW, did you look on the Borders website for a store near you that might have Baty’s book? That’s how I found it.

    • I think I just bought the last one in the Bay Area. I searched and searched and found it today but it wasn’t easy. I started reading already and I think Chris Baty and I are from the same planet. I love your your like and don’t like list, funny how we read and write different things but our lists are so similar. If you don’t mind I will do a similar list on my blog–non-blog 🙂
If I’m taking the time to make the list I might as well ‘not’ blog about it…lol
