Robert pulled a card out of the stack of mail and opened it, then read the inscription.
“Your first Father’s Day always feels like the most important, but as your kids grow, you realize they’re all important. Enjoy it! Love Always, Dad.”
He put it down, picked up the memorial card, and read the fancy script.
“In memory of Robert, Sr., Born April 16, 1940. Died June 18, 2010.”
