Dana’s NEW YEAR Celebration #Givaway

Happy New Year1

I love celebrating the new year. There’s nothing better than a new beginning and a clean slate. The holidays are over and it’s time focus on the future.

Welcome to 2014!
I’m ready, are you?

I don’t believe in New Years resolutions, but I do believe in setting a few annual goals.

Here are a few of my writing goals for 2014:

  • Publish Broken Embrace, even if it kills me. 🙂
  • Take at least one writing class, two if I can swing it.
  • Finish and submit What the Heart Wants.
  • Outline the sequel to What the Heart Wants. This will be a three book series.
  • Seriously consider writing a fourth book in the Embrace Series. (Any comments or suggestions for this? Do you want another Embrace book? I have an idea, but I can’t share it until you know more about Broken Embrace.)
  • Spend more time promoting on Social Media. I’ve backed off on this over the last few months.
  • That’s about it for writing goals. I have a full time job and three kids outside of my writing life, that seriously limits my time and keeps my goal list short. Family, after all, is number one on all my lists.

To celebrate the New Year and my new goals, I’m giving away a signed copy of Precious Embrace and a Precious Embrace coffee mug. Good luck and
    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Some goals I have for the year 2014 are to spend more fun times with my family. I lost my Grandma on Dec 19 and I wish I could have spent more time with her. We seem to spend less time with each other doing fun or quality things, even though we have so many more conveniences. So there may be days where my house is a mess and I have a pile of laundry but I have to realize they can wait.
Wishing you a fabulous New Year.
