Blog Tag and I’m it, thanks to Linda Cassidy Lewis
I volunteered, but now that I’m looking at the questions, I’m wondering what I got myself into…
Be prepared, I may have tagged you too.
Here are my eight answers:
1. If you could have any superpower, what would you have? Why?
If I could choose a superpower it would have to be super human strength. My biggest pet peeve is having to ask my husband to open a jar for me. I hate it! I hate not being able to do absolutely everything myself.
2. Who is your style icon?
Style? What is that?
If I had to choose someone whose style I admire, it would have to be Jennifer Aniston. *sigh* She never wears sweats and I do all the time…
3. What is your favorite quote?
It’s hard to pick just one. Currently it would have to be the one posted at the top of this page.
“The opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it’s indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it’s indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it’s indifference.” -Elie Wiesel
4. What is the best compliment you’ve ever received?
I have no idea. It’s a pleasure to receive any compliment. I can’t pinpoint just one.
5. What playlist/cd is in your CD player/iPod right now?
In my car I have a mixed CD. I call it ‘The Black CD’. It’s a mix of some of my favorite pissed off chic songs.
Here’s a sample:
Michelle Branch – Are you happy now
Alanis Morissette – You oughta know
Kelly Clarkson – Never Again
Carrie Underwood – Before he cheats
The current playlist on my IPOD is a mix of my favorites:

6. Are you a night owl or a morning person?
I used to be a night owl until I started writing. My brain works better in the morning. So now I like to get up early and sneak to my laptop before anyone else in the house is awake.
7. Do you prefer dogs or cats?
Ahh…neither and both.
We have a dog but he’s no particular friend of mine. We’re acquaintances who tolerate each other. He has bad manners and I’m bossy, the relationship is a work in progress.
However, my best friend has three dogs that I would bring home in a minute, ditto for my dad’s dog.
Maybe they’ll trade…?
I have nothing against cats, we get along fine, but the dog (eyeroll) seems to have a problem with them so we don’t have one.
8. What is the meaning behind your blog name
Ruled by insecurities, I was afraid to start a blog. But, truth be told, I don’t like being told what I can and cannot do. So, to fight my subconscious fear, I started a non-blog. True to my roots, once the blog was created, I looked in the mirror, put my hand on my hip, stuck my tongue out, and said so there… In my best ‘I’m the baby of the family’ voice.
Maybe one day I’ll actually start a real blog.
Now to put a few of my friends on the spot, it’s your turn. And I know you all love a challenge. 🙂
And last but not least, Paper Cut Screams
