Dana Mason started writing about ten years ago after being overwhelmed by a story that wouldn’t let her sleep until she wrote it down. The story, Dangerous Embrace, was published in 2012 and won Best Mystery/Suspense from eFestival of Words Best of Independent eBook Awards in 2014. Dangerous Embrace is the first book in her Embrace Series. The second book in the series, Precious Embrace, was Runner-Up for Best Hero from eFestival of Words Best of Independent eBook Awards that same year. Her third book, Broken Embrace, was awarded Best Indie Book in 2015 in the Romance Category.
Dana loves turning your worst nightmares into happy endings. She lives in Northern California with her husband, children, and her writing companion and mighty protector, Mia the Chihuahua.
Okay, so that’s the official bio, but read below if you really want the goods on me.
I love cheeseburgers.
If you want to see me smile, put a skinny vanilla latte in my hands–oh but don’t forget the extra shot of espresso.
I hate wearing shoes during the summer.
I love the color blue, particularly dark shades, think midnight, navy or even a slate blue, but nothing wimpy like baby blue.
I love the ocean and the beach, but the mountain air is always refreshing too, especially in the redwoods.
If you haven’t guessed already, I’m a California girl through and through.
I’m not outdoorsy, I don’t do the camping thing unless it’s in a motorhome or motel room.
I’m madly in love with my husband. It’s true. He’s my honest to God, true life hero. He’s my rock, my home and he owns my heart.
I have three kids. Two beautiful daughters who couldn’t be more different. One is my clone, the other is more like me in spirit than she’d ever admit. I also have a little boy who is growing much too fast. He’s a clone of my husband and if it wasn’t for the green eyes, I’d think he wasn’t mine at all.
